ABOUT THE PROJECT:
Curtis Island is located in Queensland, 474 kilometers northwest of Brisbane and 40 km southeast off the coast of Rockhampton.

It’s one of the world’s largest off shore refining plants in the world. Costing $11 billion and refining more than $28 billion of gas for the next 30 years.

Some interesting project numbers – 15 500 people employed at its peak, used concrete equivalent to seven Empire State Buildings, structural steel equivalent to 13 Eiffel Towers and electrical cable equivalent to 11 times the length of the Grand Canyon.

It accounts for roughly 8 percent of global LNG production till 2030. We directly supported Conoco Philips and Bechtel meeting all the stringent mining compliance requirements throughout the project.
